Rahul Mahajan, the star who got married on march 2010 in the reality TV show with a model from Kolkata named Dimpy Ganguly was dumped by his wife after he assaulted her. Rahul Mahajon is the son of BJP leader Promod Mahajon.
Their marriage was witnessed by a huge number of fans of the Swayamvar show that graced the airwaves of NDTV’s Imagine. The marriage was Rahul’s second marriage which lasted over a small period of just a few months. Dimpy Ganguly told the press that she walked out of the matrimonial relation due to domestic violence.
According to media sources, the model left Rahul’s house after receiving a severe beating from her husband. Dimpy was badly injured by Rahul. The photos of the injured model were published by Mumbai Mirror. The images portrayed her swollen face and several other wound mark that were caused by her husband’s beating.
Dimpy Ganguly reported the incident to the authorities. She revealed that the dispute took place on Thursday morning. Dimpy expressed that Rahul wanted to check a text message on her cell phone. Dimpy was sleeping and her phone was locked. Therefore Rahul tried to wake her up in order to inquire about the password. When Dimpy asked him to let her sleep he became aggressive started beating her.
The whole scene was explained by Dimpy. She told the press that she was violently beaten by Rahul. At first he kicked her and punched her on the face and then he dragged her across the house by her hair. After getting beaten by her husband, she called her father and told her about her incident. Her father arrived at their house at 4 in the morning. When her father arrived at the place she packed her belongings and left.
It is interesting to know that the Dimpy Ganguly married Rahul even though she was well aware that Rahul has a history of domestic violence even in his first marriage.

when asked Rahul about the matter, Rahul denied the entire incident, he said, "It is not true at all. I just had dinner with Dimpy's father".
According to a source, Rahul was harsh to Dimpy one month after their marriage but last Thursday night, he got violent and even pointed gun at her.
Speaking about Rahul’s changing color, Dimpy quips, "He is a nice guy, but when he loses it, there is no telling what he might do."
